On October 29, 2025, during the last two periods of the school day, Kutztown University students came to perform a concert at Stroudsburg High School, some of whom were Stroudsburg alumni. Stroudsburg Band, Marching Band, Choir, Jazz Band, Districts, Chorale, Show Choir, and Orchestra students were all invited. The concert opened with the Kutztown University Commercial Jazz Band. The Rock band later performed during the ninth period.
The jazz band performed several pieces during the 8th period. The band consisted of brass instruments, a bass, an electric bass, a piano, and a keyboard. Each song showed different tempos and tastes in jazz music. After several of the full songs, the band played samples of songs, and the crowd voted on the best one. During this time, their director asked the crowd if they had any questions regarding the university, department, or the songs and performance set process. The last song they played was a collaboration with singer, a Stroudsburg alumnus, Jilliam Sanchez.
As the bell rang, the rock band was welcomed onto the stage for their performance. At this point, students were encouraged to get up and dance along with the music. The songs featured backup singers who swayed along with the music. Several of the songs included brass instruments and keyboard. Each of the singers got their chance to shine as each of them had a solo and for some a duet or additional solo.
A big crowd stood at the foot of the stage, dancing, jumping, and swaying along with the music. Due to being short on time, the band performed one last song before student dismissal. During the final song, the singers on stage handed out posters to waiting hands in the crowd. When it was all over, students waited to greet the performers and ask for a signature on their posters.
Both ensembles are expected to return next year.
