Popular Icelandic-Chinese singer and songwriter Laufey released the music video to her hit song “Madwoman” on Monday, April 13, 2026, at 10 A.M. Eastern time. This song is from her recent Grammy-winning album “A Matter of Time: The Final Hour”. This music video reached over one million views just a mere six hours after it was posted.
Laufey is an accomplished musician. She was a cello soloist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra at age 15 and has made it to a finalist and semifinalist in multiple of Iceland’s television talent shows (such as Ísland Got Talent). She later graduated from Berklee College of Music, where she studied Cello on a Presidential Scholarship. Her music now is often described as a blend of pop, jazz, and classical.
