Gabriel Howard, Staff Writer

What values are important to you?

I’d say trust and honesty, because I feel like you can’t really “vibe” with the person if they’re fake or “wearing a mask”.

Who do you consider your biggest role model, and why?

My biggest role model is Muhammad Ali, because he’s really influential and a good boxer, and stood up for what he believed in. I respect that a lot; someone who was drafted for the Vietnam War but did not go for it, and converted to Islamic and changed his name.

What are your plans after graduation?

I’m going to Rutgers University to major in computer science. I’d like to work at Riot Games, which produced such games like League of Legends.

What was your favorite class at SHS?

AP Environmental Science, because I like Mr. Hakim a lot. He’s my favorite teacher, the class is fairly challenging, and deals with things that are going to affect our future – the depletion of the ozone layer, and things like that.

What’s the meme or vine that makes you howl with laughter?

Probably the Doge meme, because it’s a dog and it’s really cute. What more can you ask for?

Favorite video game and why?

Probably Super Smash Brothers, because I like the art style, the competitive scene, the fighting mechanics, and because a lot of my friends play it.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Easy! Time travel, because I could go, fix all my mistakes, and can see my future! I can be the perfect human being!

What’s advice you would give someone for the future?

Work hard in 9th grade, and don’t slack off in senior year. Have fun!
