Sophomore Class Update: October

ai???I really want to help and find creative ways to fundraise,ai??? said Walter Price, sophomore class vice president. Ai??ai???We came into the school with close to $3,000, and we intend to make at least $8,000.ai???

The sophomore class officers consist of president Tiffany Grohowski, vice president Walter Price, secretary Brooke Givens, and treasurer Hannah Tepper. Ai??Along with their advisers, Ms. Janet Robison and Ms. Sandy Striba, they are very excited about their plans for this upcoming school year.

Not only have the officers come up with some considerably creative fundraising ideas, the entire sophomore class gave suggestions at the recent activities fair, which yielded extremely positive results.

ai???We definitely want to do something with Moeai??i??s, probably Wing Nights at Trackside, dress down days, basketball tournaments, stuff like that.ai??? said Givens.

Along with their solid fundraising ideas, the class has been heavily preparing for this yearai??i??s Homecoming float competition.

ai???All weai??i??ve been talking about so far is the float,ai??? said Robison. ai???We have some very good ideas, at least four, maybe five things weai??i??ve been really focusing on.ai???

Although the sophomores have been doing an excellent job, they can not do everything on their own. ai???Donai??i??t be afraid to come to us with ideas,ai??? said Givens. ai???Weai??i??re very open about it and we will take whatever you have to say into consideration.ai???
