What are your opinions on today’s trends, and your favorite one?

Today’s trends change so quickly, it’s hard to keep up with them.

I think the most intriguing trend to me is “Quiet Quitting”. In a nutshell, “Quiet Quitting” is basically working as hard as your paycheck is big. For example, if you’re getting paid minimum wage, you would do the bare minimum to keep your job. I find this trend interesting because even if you doing the bare minimum, you still get paid the same amount. If you go above and beyond, most of the time you still get the same amount. I wonder how big corporations will react to this trend.

When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?

This question is really hard. I think they would ask about the pandemic. It changed the way we look at widespread illness, and how we react to it. The way things were before Covid isn’t going to be the same.

What movie could you never get tired of watching?

I’ve watched a good amount of movies in my spare time. But the best movie I’ve seen was Big Hero 6. The first movie, other than The Titanic, that made me cry. It has the perfect balance of action, character building, and inner conflict. It won’t stay on the top forever but it is currently one of my favorites.

What social stigma does society need to get over?

The stigma behind mental illness. I feel like it’s sometimes swept under the rug. Mental illness can cause physical damage if severe. It should be talked about more to bring more awareness.

What’s something people don’t worry about but really should?

Their main goal in life. It’s really important to remember what you’re building yourself towards. And even if you don’t have something specific, it still helps to have an idea to lead you in a certain direction. Personally, I want to help the world through knowledge and technology. Making everyone’s life easier.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

If I could have any superpower, it would be used to help people. I want the ability to change the properties of anything I touch. For instance, making iron flexible but still retaining its strength.  With this power, I could make super material for people to use or for new inventions.

What activities or hobbies do you enjoy outside of school?

I really enjoy drawing. Most things straight from my imagination like character designs or settings. I mostly draw using pencils, but now I’m starting to dabble the ink media.
