National Honor Society promotes scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Members interact with the community, helping out with soup kitchens, blood drives, Meals on Wheels deliveries, etc.

NHS membership is by invitation only. If a student shows potential, they will receive a letter toward the end of their sophomore or junior year.

NHS meetings are on the third Thursday of every month, and community service is year round. Club advisers include guidance counselor Ms. Onody, President Elizabeth Whidden, Vice President Emily Geiger, Secretary Nikki Nordmark, Treasurer Steven Visceglia, Historian Joe Visceglia, and Assistant Secretary Alexa Vaghenas.

There is an upcoming “Puppy Palooza,” a community dog show/parade, on Saturday, May 9. Make sure to sign up your canine for a spectacular, fun time!
