24 years.

 What do you find most surprising about your job?

Never judge a student based on past teacher comments.  Build your own relationship with them to get the most out of them.

What is your favorite part about teaching?

Seeing someone do something they didn’t think they could do before.

What is one piece of advice you would share with your students?

Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Why did you choose the subject that you teach?

I played sports all my life and wanted to be a coach. I figured teaching about sports was my best shot at doing it.  Math was an afterthought, but I enjoy the challenge of it.
