This is my 28th year teaching at SASD.

What subject(s) do you teach?

As an elementary teacher, I teach all subjects during the day.

What is your favorite part about teaching?

Every day is a new adventure with the kiddos. Their excitement when learning new things is the best reward!

What do you find most challenging about being a teacher?

It is challenging to meet the needs of all your students each day. Some need a hug while others need more practice to master the skills they have been taught to be a successful learner.

What is your favorite sports team? Why are they your favorite?

I have always been a  Philly fan of both the Eagles and Phillies. What a great year to be a Philly Fan! The World Series and the Super Bowl in one year, an awesome 

How and when did you know that teaching was what you wanted to do?

I began working in daycare and knew right away I wanted to be an elementary teacher. I enjoyed caring for and helping children learn! That is why I am still at it today and still love coming to school each day! There is always someone counting on you to be there for them!
